History

HKBKA began when the board or directors each achieved success within their chosen disciplines in the Ottawa marketplace. Quickly the members of the board decided that it was extremely important to give back to the Ottawa community and HKBKA was born.

HKBKA is dedicated to the world's most precious resource. CHILDREN

HKBKA works jointly with dedicated charitable organizations such as the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada (www.childrenswish.ca) to raise funds and awareness for children living in the national capital region and stricken with life threatening illnesses.

HKBKA's mandate is to hold first class events with associations dedicated to children so that kids with life threatening illnesses can enjoy all the innocence of youth, if only for a short while.

Since its inception in 2004, HKBKA has raised well in excess of $110,000.00 and has grown to be the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, National Capital Region's largest golf tournament which would not be possible without the support of its corporate partners, participants & volunteers.

The board of directors donates significant resources and many tireless hours to a cause which they truly believe in... HELPING KIDS BE KIDS AGAIN!!
